I didn't even see much backlash. I think people like a little bit of the dirt. And that's part of what drew them to Michael Jordan. He did do the nice guy image in his marketing, but there was a sense of the book, The Jordan Rules, about how vicious he is because sports is vicious. It really is. We kind of know that. But now the marketing has, and by extension, the culture as a whole is rejecting that reality. Do we want to pretend that this thing is something different than what it is? Or do we want to accept it on its own merits?"
