What's the Order of the Numbers?

Some things didn't seem to really be cohesive with those titles that the questions that I had. So, one of them was with the numbers. You know, the cardinal numbers are formed with a set of roots,. And then there's 100 and 144, which is gross. But for 24, no, for 24, it's just 2.12. For 23, it breaks down to 2 times 10 plus 3, I think. That didn't seem too clear, so I put that as one of my points of interest questions.
