The Death of Jordan Neely in the New York City Subway System
Jordan Neely died after another passenger on the train put him in a chokehold allegedly in response to him making harassing or uncomfortable comments. Daniel Penny is the name of the person who initiated the chokehold and he died as a result of that. There has been some additional audio that people have been pointing to that indicates there was some warning that the restraint was too severe or going on for too long. One who can be heard but not seen warned Penny that Neely had defecated which he feared was a sign that he was dying from his experience. He then warned Penny that he might be facing a murder, a quote, murder charge because of his actions.
