There are also what I call progressive anti family reforms. One category is to lead the state and to some extent employers to recognize and honor the chosen care relations that people actually live in. So you know, they're a fair number of single black mothers in the United States who raise children with the aid of their parents or their sister or their best friendswho might live with them. They expand the range of freedom available to pro-letarians in thinking about how to structure their lives. And part of what the left should do is create space for people to be able to desire, to articulate desires, to let desires unfold and grow.
