Retraining Your Body for Insulin Requirements
If you exercise enough, your insulin requirement can be trained. In reactive hypoglycemia, when you have sugar or carbs, you put out too much insulin and then too much glucose. Too much glucose floods into your cells, leaving the glucose party in your bloodstream a little sleepy. If you ran a mile today, next week, I don't think you're going to need less insulin tomorrow. But not next week.
