The New Vision of Rust?

Every rust project managed by cargo has a little mididay to file. All you need, edition equals 20 18. You can still include third paty pendencies that themselves are using an older edition. Today's compiler can still compile code that was in the original 20 15 edition. The changes are mostly editive rather than contradictory. Rust has a six weekly up date cycle. And so if something is not backwards incomparable, then quite often you can include substantive changes inside one of those six week cycles.
