The Ridiculous Fraud of the IAEA
The core of the scandal was there was a fraud, an obvious group of fraudulent documents claiming that Saddam Hussein was buying yellow cake. The IAEA debunked the documents in 30 minutes with Google. They just said, look, the guy whose name is on these documents wasn't even in power at the time and this kind of stuff, right? Ridiculous frauds. But it worked, it was part of the argument for lying us into war.
