Rit the amigla: Ask it questions, what what's the threat? What am i afraid of? Have i heard this before? Those questions fire off the pre frontal cortex, which can relieve the anxiety. The other thing that i do is i start to ask the anxiety questions like, you know, you really want to work with what's going on in that amegdala. It doesn't make the anxiety go away, but it puts me back in control, puts the adult me back in Control.
