A Child's First Job

As a child, Russell says he lives largely in a private world of nature and ideas. He comes to the realization that nothing in nature feels like church or school. And this lifelong distaste for institutions organization obviously heavily influences the choices he makes when he starts visa. At 10 years old I was hand harvesting fruit and vegetables at a penny the pound. At 12 I was thinning sugar beets at $20 the acre.
