Why Is Abundance Declining?

In spite of all the doom and gloom, Malthusians are not heading for an apocalypse. Abundance can increase at two different speeds: if abundance of resources is increasing at a lower rate than population then it's declining. If population increases by 5%, but personal resource abundance is only increasing by 2%. We call that increasing abundance. But if your resource abundance is increasing by 10%, we call that super abundance.
