The Importance of Criminal Code Updates for AI Agents
I was thinking about the fact that you know if a self-driving car kills somebody or causes someone to die. And it struck me as an area where we have right now technologies capable of violating these laws but a set up where the laws were designed with a human mind in conception which is capable of various forms of mens rea. I do think the distance between the producer, the operator, the owner of the AI and the AI itself creates this kind of loophole that we need to identify and be able to fix.
