Preventing a Future Dark Ages
In this chapter, they discuss the possibility of another dark ages and the role of the internet in preventing it. They acknowledge that the state could potentially destroy electricity grids, but argue that knowledge is now so widespread that it's unlikely for the entire globe to regress into a new dark ages. They mention the existence of books and libraries as well as the internet as sources of knowledge that can sustain civilization even if certain areas go offline.
