Customers who manage their portfol s generally have a harder time keeping emotions out of investing than those who rely on a financial adviser. People, when they're looking to have less emotion in their investing and make practical decisions, do it better when they've got somebody else involved. They don't feel emotionally attached to these decisions. And so we're emotionally invested in the outcomes, but unemotionally invested in the process to get there.
