The ExxonMobil Experience
ExxonMobil discovered oil off Guyana's coast in 2015, but it didn't actually produce its first barrel there until 2019. In those four years from the discovery of oil to the production of it, Keanu Wilberg set herself the task of learning everything she possibly could about the industry. "I came to understand that Exxon was far more difficult and a little bit scarier even," says New Yorker journalist Steve Call.
