Is This a Productive, a More Productive, Way to Analyze These Connections?
I think that we have to actually interrogate the categories, what we mean by east and west. We should also acknowledge that within these categories there are a host of complexities. There's hierarchies, right? There's racializations. And so that these things need to be taken into consideration and deconstructed before we can even get to the point where then, ah, we can think of these feminisms comparatively, right?
