The Shaking of the Natural Order of Things

The author of Hebrews says, when God wants to say something and get our undivided attention, he speaks through shaking or disturbing. This disturbance that comes from heaven into history is authored by God to disturb the natural order of things. At the Red Sea, Israel was caught between Pharaoh and the Red Sea. They're being stuck between a rock and a hard place because God wanted to show them something new.
