The notion of causality is hard in quantumphysics, but i think that it is deterministic. What's certainly clear, at least in the explanation that chan gives, is that there is no straightforward account lik how one thing could affect another. Even with the access to these other universes, it's really, really hard to tell these changes occurred. Read like historians were super excited, like as they might be able to tell, but like, even they gave up pretty quickly, cause it's such a complex system.
