In today's Catholic culture I think it almost can be very kind of visit as an excuse like now we can succumb to our passions. Yet we must not forget that all these analyses implicitly presuppose the reality of being and also the reality of human, which is a creature. If we do not set out from such realist presuppositions such as those from St. Thomas we will end up in a vacuum with no answers.
