The Arts Aren't the Most Important Education
I've got no argument against the importance of the sciences and technology on the country. My way into this happened to be through theatre. The arts can't be reduced to shibilets about the importance of creative work. Through the arts, we express deep issues of cultural value. They are forms of language in their own right,. And they are among the most profound ways that we come to know ourselves and how cultures become defined.
