What Is Connected Speech and Why We Should Learn About It
connected speech is a reflection of the way people speak naturally in English. In other languages that are syllabic there would be a clear separation between those two sounds so if for people who say if you speak Portuguese and you're trying to speak English your natural instinct might be to separate those two sounds from each other but if you learn to connect them right through connected speech you will sound a lot more natural. It's a really great way for you to develop your pronunciation skills in english and I definitely encourage everyone to look to look up different types of connected speech.
