Movie Review - The Village Voice

The film grossed four point three million dollars in just 800 theatres over its first week end p s. Box office magazine disobeyed, spoiling the twist, because they were mad that this thriller was so old fashioned it's almost quaint. The probable doom of costner's in between men makes him a fitting hero for our time. There is indeed no way out. For him or for us. But think there's something else happening. We do, as Andrew Saris notes, invest in costner's fate because of the delightful sex. When she dies, you want tom to avenge her death by punishing hackmen.
