The German President Is in-Key, if It's a Surprise Visit
German President Frank Volta-Shtynmayer has visited Ukraine. It is his first visit to the country since Russia invaded back in February. He was snubbed by key for his year-long, years-long, detente policy with Moscow. This should be seen as an attempt by Germany to offer a more robust stance on foreign policy affairs and make it clear that their commitment is very much on Ukraine winning this war. And we can expect a very robust response from Rishisunak indeed.
