The Effects of Cycling on Your Athletes' VO2 Max
A new study shows that repeated high intensity sprints gave you as much of an aerobic or endurance benefit as endurance training did. After eight weeks, these cyclists had had a 13% increase in VO2 max. But if you do this in someone who's already got a relatively high aerobic base, the degree to which you'd improve it would be considerably lower. This one was studied and we'll see hopefully how they all connect to one another.
