A World in Common at Tate Modern
A world in common is running at Tate Modern until January next year. It features an landmark of American theatre, A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry. The idea of returning to Africa was a strong political idea debated among African Americans during the long civil rights struggle against racial segregation. Two extracts from Benetha's place, which stars Gary Chirrell as Benetha and Kwame Kwai-Amar as Antifola.
