Dolly Alden's Ghost
Dolly Alden's novel Ghost is about a woman in her 30s trying to come to grips with, is she going to be in a relationship or not? She meets this guy via dating out. It's working pretty well, and then the dude just kind of disappears. So it's partly about how women can be in what they think is a relationship... And I know from friends who are in that position, how massively annoying they can find those kinds of presumptions. The book also explores friendship and how you can hit a point where you just don't have that much in common anymore - even though you used to be really good friends.
