More than 500 bills restricting the rights of LGBTQ+ people have been introduced across the country this year, 77 of those bills. We also see in the US a very hard turn against LGBTQ people and big movement against abortion rights. These culture war issues that have taken the place of economic issues when it comes to animating voters. The biggest and most interesting of these shifts is France where the natural front has been slowly increasing its vote with every election. And it would not surprise me if in the next presidential election, Marine Le Pen finally gets what she's been looking for for decades and wins it.
