In America, oftentimes you don't look at each other always. But in China, I'll take a comfortable position like leaning against the wall and like looking out the window. And then I'll notice that my Chinese friend will then move between me and the window so that I'm looking at that is very odd. This has happened to me more than once. Hugging in general is picked up for Chinese people because it wasn't one of our... I know a lot of Americans hug.
