William Blake Versus the World
William blake saw the world in what he called twofold vision, which was the dance of the imagination and the real constantly. But there were elevated visionary states that would sometimes come over him from point on. He had only one exhibition of his own work er in his lifetime, just a solo exhibition, and it was like a broke above his brother's shop, and it didn't sell any work. There was one review which called him an unfortunate lunatic. The fact that his fame has grown and grown and grown over the past 200 years is something that he entirely predicted.
