In recent years, the liberal party has been pitched by its leaders towards more trady voters. That means people in the outer suburbs who are tradesmen or in jobs like trades jobs. In that sense, it's a bit er insink with what's happened in other western democracies,. although it hasn't gone to extremes as we saw in the united states.
