The ICD-11 Diagnostic Criteria for Complex PTSD
In June 2018, the diagnosis of complex PTSD was introduced in the ICD-11. The symptoms would cause impairment and functioning or cause significant distress. There's a lifetime prevalence of PTSD that is significantly higher among adults with ADHD compared to others. Some research has shown that there is a family connection since ADHD is a disorder that has a genetic component.
