Philip calvin graw was born on september first, 19 50 in venita, oklahoma. He had two older sisters and one younger sister. His father moved the family down to the oil fields of north texas. By age 11, phil was driving a freight truck owned by his grandfather. At 12, he was flying planes illegally, without a license.
