Is Discord a Better Platform to Host Games?

I had the sense that you had a little bit of a renaissance when lockdown hits in 2020 with the Discord server. The biggest advantage of this court is to have everything on one platform. It really allows for more organic exchanges and real time exchanges rather than having a message board concept where you have to format a message or do it by email, which is a lot less interactive.
