Is There a Theory of Consciousness?
I'm saying that if a theory of consciousness is getting that wrong, then whatever it is talking about, at that point, I don't call it consciousness. You have to use a different word. So your sense as a blank wall is not more conscious than a human being. It's also possible, just like with intelligence, that us humans conveniently define these very difficult to understand concepts in a very human-centric way.
