Academi has become a place where it's just harder and harder to say really interesting things, for reasons that often quite bewilder me. The people i'm reading for those kinds of thoughts are feminist writers who came on board to fight a particular battle about feminism. When people do that, it takes them through those thoughts in a way that doesn't happen to an academic study of philosophy.
