The Power of Heidegger's Positive Destruction of Aristotle
Haida-Garian destruction of Aristotle is a peculiarly powerful method for engaging with the tradition of Western metaphysics, says Heidegger. If you inherit this tradition today, there are people in the world who are untouched by that Western tradition and so it doesn't apply to them. And I think Haida-Gian destruction gives us away a really powerful way of digging back into the ground of those concepts out of which they emerged. It's not just the application of concepts, but the concepts themselves. That's what my book makes an argument for.
