There's a point in time where a thing has not even been invented yet. Oftentimes a window that might just be a year, maybe up to five years when that industry grows tremendously. After that point then it reaches maturity and it might be in maturity for a decade or a hundred years even. And there will then be an end point where the thing is disrupted or something else goes and interrupts this relatively stable state of maturity and it goes into decay. The types of capital that makes sense to go into these different stages as largely dependent on the stage that an industry is in.
