Daniels: Go has had a flag called thing. It's called go arm 64. And you tell it what version of the architecture your machine, your target machine supports. If you swp a six for nine, it might run ten % faster, depending on what kind of code you're running. Andy targets one of four versions that are between intel and a m d where, roughly speaking, i believe version one is like the common denominator. He says they don't suffer from as much of the same problem because they haven't had as many versions with as many changes in the last decade or two.
