Wildfire Smoke in the American Northeast

Last week, a big low pressure system came in kind of came up the Gulf. It sat there for a long time and being in the Northern Hemisphere, the air rotated counterclockwise around it. And if you think about what a very, very big atmospheric system with air rotating counterclockwise kind of right off the coast of Cape Cod would do that hop,. That dry air came up. It banned all these fires, which had already been burning in Northern Quebec, continuing to rotate down. The smoke traveled through Toronto and then right into the heart of the Isla corridor.
