Kennedy's Campaign for War in Cuba
The Joint Chiefs of Staff recommended a national policy of early military intervention in Cuba. Kennedy was not amused by this and said bluntly that we are not discussing the use of U.S. military force. By July of 1962, they're reviewing this operation and it's the biggest CIA operation in a communist country but there's little to show for it. The other so-called secret warriors in the CIA are planning other operations.
