Dukkha and Selflessness
There's a very critical relationship between the understanding of dukkha and the understanding of anata, of selflessness. We can actually begin to realize the selfless nature of phenomena in our deepening understanding of Dukkha. And that's really the main part of the talk tonight. Okay, so this is the first part of the suta. This discourse on the characteristic of non-self. So we need to investigate these two aspects and test them for ourselves. Otherwise we are hearing this as Buddhist philosophy and it is not particularly transformative.
