Are We Just Lying to Ourself?

I have a node that's running at home that's not updated right now. And I probably wouldn't have enabled auto updates on it anyway. So like are we just lying to ourselves by saying like, Oh, it's not auto update? It is a thought. Definitely getting comes with trade offs. You can experiment in this way and I mean, hashtag reckless was a part of the early lightning culture. Paul would argue that we're past that stage and we probably shouldn't be as reckless.
