The difference in architecture from a pre micro services container, basewold to a post woldet sit used to have monolithic applications deployed probably once every few weeks or quarter. And then on top of that, everything's ephemeral. Like you do a deployment multiple times a day. So it's really hardto design for one world and then re purpose it for something else.
