Chantal e johnson's new novel, one more time, is called post dramatic. The first thing that i think of is the way that a post dramatic consciousness is endlessly creative. But those critical faculties can also go awry when the brain is jacked by cartus hall and adrenelin. I would say post dramatic humour is incredibly important to me, particularly gallows humour. If one is able to survive atrocity and make jokes about it, that feels profoundly aesthetic, but also deeply philosophical and wisea she says.
