The Promise of God to Hagar
The angel of the Lord gives her promises and it gives her assurance, which is good news. God doesn't tell you to do nothing he ain't. He did far more exceedingly and abundantly above than what Hagar was at. I think it's important to know that when God sends her back into Abram's house, he does not send her back empty handed. Back in those times, having children was understood as so much like a house.
