The question is how do you make a case to your organization to embrace open source, especially if it has historically favored big vender supported tools. Most of what we use in the devops tool kit is likely going to be officers. We're going to end up writing something and selling it to somebody that is going to be proprietory. I doubt that there is a softervender on the planet to day that hhas hunde % proprietory solution of something, no open source at all.
