The Ending of the Old Men's Play
M thinking about a production by michael bogdarnof at the royal shakespeare company in 19 eighties. He took a very jaundiced view of the men in this play, old men and em. The idea was that montagues and capulus, this was just a cosmetic patch up. And they were sticking up a couple of tawdry statues. They hadn't really got the message of the play at all.
