Pancho Barnes's Life in the Wildflowers

Pancho Barnes set up shop next to Murak Dry Lake training camp. The government contracts with her and they have her supply the army air corps with not only pilots and planes, but also to sell them hog meat and milk. World War II kicks off in 1939. Two years later, the US enters the fight after Pearl Harbor. That same year, 1941, Pancho Barnes enlarges her ranch.
