Palliative Care in Medicine

In your book, you talk about the need potentially to think in terms of a palliative approach to humanity on the planet. I'm wondering if you could talk a little bit more about that palliatives approach and maybe more specifically how it relates to hospice care. It's about asking what matters most when one realizes that barring some kind of miracle, one's time is growing short.
