The Influence of the Theopolis Institute on Orthodox Theology

I think David Bentley heart's been pretty influential in my thought. I feel a connection with the way that they're trying to do things and talk about the perfect. A lot of the symbolic work came from just work that my brother and I did in the early 2000s studying iconography studied you know mystical texts from different traditions. Like James B Jordan's book someone gave it to me a few years ago and I just started reading it now, like wow this reality is kind of imposing itself on us. So there are some people but  in terms of of Christians it's mostly the church fathers themselves and then maybe people like Vladimir Lasky or Ed Phaser.
