The Importance of the Economic Power of Capital
The economic power of capital consists of a lot of different mechanisms of domination that together reproduce capitalism. Competition is something that affects all market agents regardless of their class position. But because capitalism is also a class system it affects even though it affects everyone it affects people differently depending on where they are in that system. I think it's important to see how both of these dimensions are there at the same time and that they strengthen and mediate each other.
